Face Tours Business Terms and Conditions

1. Booking the Trip / Establishing the Travel Contract

1.1 When a customer books a trip with Face Tours and receives a confirmation, a travel contract is formed between the customer and Face Tours.

1.2 The individual making the booking represents all participants listed and is responsible for meeting the contractual obligations on their behalf.

1.3 Bookings can be made in writing, verbally, by phone, or electronically (email, online) after Face Tours has provided all necessary information.

1.4 The travel contract is formalized when Face Tours accepts the booking request and issues a confirmation/invoice, which may be sent electronically.

1.5 If the confirmation/invoice differs from the original booking request, it acts as a new offer from Face Tours, valid for 10 days (or 2 days for bookings within 7 working days of departure). The contract is finalized upon the customer’s acceptance through declaration, down payment, or full payment.

2. Payment

2.1 Upon finalizing the travel contract and receiving necessary insurance details, a 50% down payment of the total trip cost, plus any applicable insurance fees, is required. For tailored offers, the down payment may differ as specified.

2.2 The down payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before departure, assuming the trip is confirmed as per Section 9. Customers bear any additional fees for international transfers. For bookings made less than two weeks before departure, full payment is due immediately upon receiving the invoice.

2.3 If payments are delayed, Face Tours may cancel the contract after issuing a warning and charge cancellation fees as outlined in Section 5. Customers may present proof of lower costs. Additional costs for incomplete payments and a reminder fee of 50 MAD may also be applied.

2.4 For bookings made within 28 days of departure, the full trip cost is due immediately.

2.5 Exchange rates are determined by the settlement date, not the booking date. Face Tours is not responsible for currency fluctuations. Additional bank charges for international payments may apply.

3. Services

3.1 The contractual services are based exclusively on the descriptions provided by Face Tours and confirmed in the travel documents. Any additional agreements require written confirmation from Face Tours.

3.2 Promotional materials not issued by Face Tours are not binding. The current price lists at the time of trip confirmation are applicable.

3.3 Third parties cannot modify the terms or services offered by Face Tours. Special customer requests must be explicitly confirmed in writing by Face Tours.

3.4 Services provided by third-party companies, even if booked through Face Tours, are not included in Face Tours’ service scope.

4. Changes to Services

4.1 Face Tours may alter service details for significant and unforeseen reasons before the contract is concluded.

4.2 Customers will be notified immediately of any changes. In cases of substantial changes, customers may withdraw from the contract or choose an equivalent trip, if available. Such rights must be asserted immediately upon notification.

4.3 Warranty claims remain valid if the modified services are defective.

5. Price Adjustments

Face Tours may adjust prices due to increased transportation costs, taxes, or currency fluctuations:

5.1 For transportation cost increases: a) Per-seat cost increases are passed on to the customer. b) Other transportation cost increases are divided among all seats, with the resulting per-seat amount charged to customers.

5.2 Increased taxes or fees (e.g., port, airport, security) will lead to proportional price adjustments.

5.3 Currency fluctuations after contract conclusion may also result in price changes.

5.4 Customers will be informed of any price changes at least 10 days before the trip. For increases exceeding 20%, customers may withdraw or request an equivalent trip. Such rights must be exercised immediately.

5.5 Cost increases affecting a tour group will be proportionally divided. Detailed explanations will be provided by Face Tours upon request.

6. Customer Cancellations

6.1 Customers may cancel their trip at any time before departure by notifying Face Tours. If booked through an agent, cancellation can also be declared there. Written cancellations via email are recommended.

6.2 If a customer cancels, Face Tours is entitled to compensation unless the cancellation is due to exceptional circumstances or Face Tours’ fault.

6.3 Standard cancellation fees apply as per the cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking.

7. Unused Services

If a customer does not use certain services for reasons beyond Face Tours’ control, no proportional refund will be provided unless legally or officially required.
