Day 5: Bin El Ouidane - Fez
We leave Bin el-Ouidane dam and reservoir behind us and continue to Beni Mellal city and Tadla plain, it is famous of livestock and such fruits as oranges, olives, figs and pomegranate so after hours of driving we will arrive in Azrou forest to see Morocco Barbary macaques after we lead to Ifrane city, it’s known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes, with neat red-roofed houses, blooming flower beds, lake-studded parks and snowbound winters, this remarkable European styled town is often referred to as “Morocco’s Switzerland.” we will join Fez city where we will visit and make city tour to discover 1st imperial cities in Morocco and our tour start from south Borj in hill overlooking at old Medina of Fez El Bali, we will visit ceramic factory and continue to visit Fez El Bali and explore its monument historic, Medersa El-Attarine is a madrasa in Fez near the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. It was built by the Marinid sultan Uthman II Abu Said in 1323, after which we will see Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. It was founded as a mosque by Fatima al-Fihri in 857–859 and subsequently became one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of the historic Muslim world heritage and in the end of our visit we will explore the tanneries Chouara of Fez like those of Marrakech, have not changed since medieval times after we will lodge in the hotel.
